Privacy policy

What we collect

• The photo you upload to make a video.
• The videos we generate for you.
• Your email address and sign-in details.
• Your IP address and browser type when you sign in, to protect your account from misuse.
• Payment records from Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic usage data, such as pages visited and errors, to keep the service working.

How we use your photo

Your photo is used only to make the video you asked for. To render it, we send the photo and a text description of the scene to a third-party AI video service: a ByteDance-class video model accessed through KIE (kie.ai). The service processes it to return your video and for no other purpose we authorize.

Uploaded photos are kept for 7 days after upload, so we can help if something goes wrong with your video, and are then deleted automatically.

Where your files are stored

Photos and finished videos are stored with Cloudflare R2. Account and payment records are stored in our database. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

Your videos

Your videos stay in My videos until you delete them. A video is only visible to others if you share its link.

Emails

We email you to verify your account, to reset your password, and when a video is ready. We don’t sell your email address or share it for marketing.

Your rights

You can download or delete any of your videos from My videos, and delete your account from Settings. For a copy of the rest of your data, or any other privacy request, email hello@tryburningbridges.com. Deleting your account removes your videos, photos and profile right away, and from our backups within 30 days.
