The short answer
The best Burning Bridges AI clips change who is hosting the party: a TV cast, an athlete, a dog, a grandparent. The idea matters more than the tool. Below are the versions people post most, and how to make your own take on each from one photo of yourself or your pet.
TV and film versions
The biggest clips so far recast the party with a whole TV cast: The Office, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad. They work because you already know the characters, so the joke lands in the first second.
Those clips swap real actors into the music video with video-to-video tools. You can’t do that here: we don’t make videos of celebrities or public figures, and we don’t use the music video footage. You can still borrow the idea:
- Be the character in your own group. Caption it as the boss of your office, the friend who always plans the night out, or the one who turns up late to everything.
- Make a cast of your own. Each friend makes a video, and you post them back to back with a character name on each.
- Let on-screen text carry the reference. A line like “me arriving at the season finale party” does the work a costume would.
Sports versions
Sports clips are the next big group, from basketball players to wrestlers. They often go up straight after a big win, and the arms-up ending already looks like a celebration.
- Post yours the night your team wins, with the score in the caption.
- Make one for your own team: the captain, the coach, the player of the season. Only with adults who agree to it.
- Won your fantasy league? This is your victory lap.
One honest note: the video dresses the lead for a night out, so a jersey in your photo won’t carry through. Put the team name in your caption or on-screen text instead.
Pet versions
Pets are the easiest version to get right and often the funniest. In ours, your dog or cat trots out of the crowd in a small bow tie, waves a paw from a velvet banquette and gets a standing cheer. The pet guide covers the photo and the steps.
- A birthday or adoption-day party for your pet.
- Two pets, two videos, posted as a pair.
- The pet who acts like they own the house, finally getting the party they think they deserve.
Family and friends versions
Grandparents are a reliable hit: someone you don’t expect to see in a supper club, cup up, arms in the air. With their agreement, a clear photo of them is all you need. See the grandpa sample on the examples page.
- A birthday: the person turning 30, 50 or 80 as the host.
- A retirement or a last day at work. The song title does half the joke for you.
- A new job, a graduation or moving to a new city.
Make your idea land
- Pick the joke first, then the photo. The photo should make the joke obvious.
- Keep the caption to one line. The video does the rest.
- Add the official sound in the app, not in the file. The sound guide shows how.
- Use vertical 9:16 for TikTok and Reels. Here’s why.
- Say it’s an AI video when you post it publicly.
Got an idea? Upload one photo and the video is ready in about 3 minutes.
Questions
Can I make the Burning Bridges trend with a TV character?
Not with TryBurningBridges. We don’t make videos of actors, celebrities or public figures. Make yourself the character instead and put the show in your caption.
Can I put my friends in the same video?
Each video has one lead from one photo. For a group, each friend makes their own video and you post them as a series.
Do costumes and team shirts show up in the video?
Usually not. The video puts the lead in night-out clothes. Your face, hair and build carry through; outfits and props mostly don’t, so put the theme in your caption.
Can I use a still from a TV show as my photo?
No. Use a photo of yourself, your pet or an adult who agreed to it, and that you have the rights to use. Stills from shows and photos of actors aren’t allowed.
